The 13th Research Institute of CETC has made technological breakthroughs in key electronic components

On September 4, under the title of "CETC: The Convergence of Party Building and Science and Technology Climbing to the Top", the program "Morning News" of China Central Radio and Television (CCTV) broadcast that the 13th Institute of CETC formed a party member commando to overcome difficulties and promote China's continuous technological breakthrough in key electronic components and other fields.
As the third generation semiconductor material, GaN chip is the core component of 5G base station. With its high frequency, high efficiency, high power, high voltage resistance, radiation resistance and other characteristics, it can make the base station smaller, faster data transmission and stronger signal.
The General Branch of the First Specialized Party established a party member commando to live on a 24-hour process line, which lasted for two or three months. It successfully reduced the current collapse by three times. In order to further improve the call quality of the 5G base station, it kept the GaN chip technology for the 5G base station in its own hands.
Driven by the demonstration of the Party members' commandos, the staff of the Thirteen Institutes, after nearly three years of concentrated research and development, realized the independent innovation of domestic gallium nitride chips, which have been successfully mass produced.
